Vitamin A Palmitate

This form of oil soluble Vitamin A is Well known for its potent rejuvenating properties. It can be incorporated into many cosmetic formulations such as moisturisers, lotions, body butters, shampoos, conditioners, gels and scrubs. It is also commonly used in anti-ageing formulations to improve appearance of aged and blemished skin.

NOTES: Vitamin A should only be used cosmetically/topically. Cosmetic formulations are required by law to contain less than 1% of retinol (on active basis)  This is due to the potential long-term negative effects of excessive vitamin A dosages. Under typical use circumstances, the amount of vitamin A used in the majority of cosmetic formulations is generally safe, although pregnant women and others who have skin issues should consult their doctor or dermatologist before using this vitamin. Utilising vitamin A can also make your skin more sensitive to the sun.  

Stabilised with Natural Vitamin E as an antioxidant to prolong its effective life

Activity: 1.7 Million IU per Gram; Retinol Equivalence:  Retinyl Palmitate is approx 55% active retinol

Storage: Store in fridge. Vitamin A will solidify at temperatures below room temperature. We recommend warming in a water bath to liquefy before use.
