Zinc Oxide (Non Nano)

Zinc Oxide is an excellent protector for the skin and as such is often used in Mineral makeup, nappy rash balms/creams, barrier creams and Sunscreen formulations. 

Zinc oxide is insoluble in water. When making products using zinc oxide it should be added to the oil phase of your formulation.

Benefits: Zinc oxide is an excellent skin barrier protector and is commonly found in baby bottom balms and barrier lotions.

NOTE: This zinc oxide does NOT contain nano-sized particles so it is not absorbed by the skin.
